Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds raw shrimp
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 cup water
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion, green pepper, and celery.
  2. Mince the garlic and sauté in oil for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, water, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp and boil for 5 to 8 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice.
