Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • meatballs (ground meat formed into balls)
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 whole chicken breasts
  • 6 chicken flavored cubes

Instructions

  1. Put heat on medium-low and add chopped onion, margarine, and cloves. Cook until onions are golden brown.
  2. While onions are cooking, prepare the meatballs by rolling ground meat into balls and coating them in flour.
  3. Brown the meatballs in a pan, then drain on paper towels.
  4. Once the chicken is golden brown, add enough water to cover the chicken and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the chicken flavored cubes to the boiling water.
  6. Increase heat to medium-high until the water boils for 5 minutes, then reduce to medium-low, ensuring the water doesn't evaporate.
  7. Add the browned and drained meatballs to the pot.
  8. Add additional water as needed to maintain the level.
  9. Simmer the stew for approximately 3 hours, allowing flavors to meld.
