Ingredients

  • 6 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 large bell peppers
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 8 to 10 mushrooms
  • 1 large can sliced olives
  • 1 lb. browned ground beef
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • garlic powder
  • Italian spices
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

  1. Pour tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes into a large saucepan.
  2. Add chopped bell peppers, onions, sliced mushrooms, and sliced olives to the saucepan.
  3. Add cooked ground beef and press garlic into the mixture to taste.
  4. Gradually add garlic powder, Italian spices, oregano, and basil until the desired flavor is achieved.
  5. Cook on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes or more, stirring occasionally.
