Ingredients

  • 2 lb beef short ribs
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup California Burgundy wine
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Place meat in a large casserole or ovenproof dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, salt, pepper, Burgundy wine, chopped onions, and wine vinegar, blending well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the meat, ensuring every piece is coated.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, covered with foil.
  5. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, totaling 1 1/2 hours of cooking.
