A hearty casserole combining seasoned ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, melted American cheese, and crispy Tater Tots, perfect for family dinners and comfort food cravings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 6 to 8 slices process American cheese
  • 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen Tater Tots
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Place the cooked meat mixture into an 8-inch casserole dish.
  3. Pour the undiluted cream of mushroom soup over the meat.
  4. Top with slices of process American cheese.
  5. Spread the frozen Tater Tots over the cheese layer.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika.
  7. Bake at 450°F until Tater Tots are browned and crispy.
