Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. salt pork, finely chopped
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 1/2 qt. boiling water
  • 6 large thick potatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 16 medium quahogs, cut up (save juice)

Instructions

  1. Fry salt pork until crisp.
  2. Sauté onions.
  3. Add to boiling water along with potatoes and tomato soup.
  4. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Turn off stove; add quahogs and juice.
