Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 cups minute rice
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 3 pounds hamburger
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green mango pepper
  • 2 large cans tomato pureed in blender
  • 1 jar large sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Mix water and minute rice in a large pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Dice the celery and add it to the rice mixture.
  3. In a separate pan, fry the hamburger, chopped onion, and chopped green mango pepper until the meat is browned and vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the cooked meat mixture to the rice and celery in the large pot.
  5. Pour in the pureed tomatoes and stir to combine.
  6. Add the sliced mushrooms and simmer everything together for about 15 minutes until heated through.
