Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pint blueberries

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Mix sugar, milk, egg, and melted butter in a bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in blueberries.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
