Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups regular grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons paprika, divided
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cook the grits in salted water until tender.
  2. Add butter and shredded cheddar cheese to the cooked grits and stir until well melted.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and 1 teaspoon of paprika.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and stir the milk into them.
  5. Gradually stir the egg and milk mixture into the hot grits until well combined.
