Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary or thyme
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (1 lb.) can red or pink salmon, cleaned and flaked
  • 3 c. light cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in butter until translucent.
  2. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and condiments; cook slowly for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in flaked salmon and its liquid, then add scalded light cream or milk.
  5. Heat over low heat for 5 minutes before serving.
