A hearty seafood loaf combining tender salmon and tuna with creamy mushroom soup, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings, offering rich flavors and satisfying textures.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound canned salmon, drained
  • 1 or 2 12 ounce cans tuna, drained
  • 1 or 2 cups cracker crumbs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 handful minced onion
  • Parsley or celery if desired
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, break up the salmon and tuna into small bits.
  3. Add cracker crumbs, cream of mushroom soup, eggs, minced onion, parsley or celery if desired, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix thoroughly, preferably with your hands.
  5. Mold the mixture into one large loaf or two smaller loaves.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until cooked through and golden.
