Ingredients

  • 1 round rye bread
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. salsa
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until well blended. Stir in shredded Cheddar cheese.
  2. Cut the top off the round rye bread and set aside.
  3. Hollow out the bread, removing the inside to create a shell.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed bread and cover with the bread top.
  5. Wrap the assembled bread in foil and place on a cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
