Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar well; add remaining ingredients. Pinch off bits of dough and roll into small balls.
  2. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes, ensuring they do not brown.
  3. While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar.
