Ingredients

  • 15 oz. (1 can) French style green beans
  • 11 oz. (1 can) corn, whole kernel
  • 8 oz. (1 tub) sour cream
  • 10 oz. (1 can) mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Mix together the green beans and corn.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly on the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine sour cream, mushroom soup, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the sour cream mixture over the bean and corn layer.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted margarine and spread evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
