  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into 2 x 1/2-inch diagonal strips.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet; add chicken and brown on all sides. Remove chicken from skillet, reserving drippings.
  3. Add onion, green pepper, and mushrooms; sauté until crisp-tender.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet.
  5. In a small bowl, combine soup mix, water, and Worcestershire sauce; mix well and pour over chicken.
  6. Cover and reduce heat; simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove chicken to a warm platter.
  8. Combine cornstarch and water; add to the sauce in the skillet.
  9. Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute or until thickened.
  10. Pour sauce over the chicken and serve.
