Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble; drain well.
  2. Place sausage in a greased 8-inch square baking pan and set aside.
  3. Combine eggs, salt, dry mustard, and milk in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until foamy.
  4. Remove crust from bread and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  5. Stir bread cubes and shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the cooked sausage in the baking pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until set.
