Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. grated American cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage; drain.
  2. Brown ground beef; drain.
  3. Cook chopped onion and chopped celery in meat fat until tender.
  4. Cook rice and drain.
  5. Mix all ingredients together except cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  7. Add grated American cheese to the top during the last 15 minutes of baking.
