Ingredients

  • 12 oz. package bulk pork or turkey sausage
  • 3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 8 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup frozen loose pack hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease an 8 x 8-inch square baking dish.
  3. Cook sausage until browned and drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix baking mix, milk, and eggs with a fork until the batter is of uniform color, noting that it will be lumpy.
  5. Stir in cooked sausage, corn, hash browns, cheese, and green onions.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45 to 50 minutes, until set and golden.
  8. Garnish with thinly sliced tomato before serving.
