- Drain the scallops and save 1 cup of the liquid.

- Add the reserved liquid and milk; cook until thick and bubbly.
- Stir a small amount of the mixture into the beaten egg, then add the egg mixture back into the sauce.
- Add the cooked scallops to the sauce and serve over linguini topped with Parmesan cheese.
