Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 (12 oz.) package Nestle butterscotch morsels
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda; set aside.
  2. Combine sugar, softened butter, and eggs in a bowl.
  3. Beat until creamy.
  4. Gradually blend the flour mixture with the milk into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in rolled oats, Nestle butterscotch morsels, raisins, and chopped nuts if desired.
  6. Drop by well-rounded tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 14 to 16 minutes.
