Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. cold water

Instructions

  1. Put all dry ingredients in a baking pan and mix well.
  2. Add vinegar, vanilla, and oil to the mixture.
  3. Pour cold water over the mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
