Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine
  • 1 head red leaf spinach
  • 2 cup mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1.5 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 0.5 pound bacon, crisp and crumbled
  • 0.5 medium red onion
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.33 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seed

Instructions

  1. Add romaine, red leaf spinach, mandarin oranges, feta cheese, bacon, and red onion to a large bowl.
  2. Whisk sugar, dry mustard, salt, cider vinegar, and vegetable oil together until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving.
  4. Add poppy seed and sesame seed last, then toss gently to combine.
