Shake 'Em Up Bars are a quick, no-bake treat with a hint of wine and walnuts, perfect for sweet snacking or dessert gatherings with a rich, nutty flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup Brotherhood Holiday wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ground walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drop 2 eggs into a quart jar with a screw top.
  2. Add sugar, oil, and wine to the jar.
  3. Screw on the lid and shake 20 times until well blended.
  4. Add salt, flour, and baking powder to the jar.
  5. Screw on the lid and shake 40 times.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 8 x 10-inch or 7 x 11-inch pan.
  7. Sprinkle ground walnuts on top of the batter, if desired.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool, then cut into squares.
