Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 apples (Granny Smith)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except the butter: apples, sugar, cinnamon, flour, and allspice.
  2. Pour the mixture into a buttered, covered baking dish.
  3. Dot the top with butter.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
