Ingredients

  • 6 oz. lemon jello
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
  • 4 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 3 Tbsp. mild salsa
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 small can tiny shrimp, rinsed
  • 1 small can ripe olives, sliced
  • 2 or 3 drops hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the lemon jello, hot water, tomato sauce, sweet pickle relish, minced onion, mild salsa, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
  2. When the mixture is partially set, add rinsed tiny shrimp, sliced ripe olives, chopped celery, and hot sauce. Mix gently.
  3. Pour the mixture into a mold or a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Chill until fully set.
  4. Serve chilled, sliced or in blocks.
