Tips & Substitutions

For a spicier kick, consider adding diced green chilies or a teaspoon of red chili powder. If you don’t have sour cream, Greek yogurt can be a great substitute. Ensure the shrimp are fresh and deveined for the best flavor. When sautéing the spices, keep an eye on them to prevent burning and ensure the full flavor develops.

Serve this shrimp curry over steamed basmati rice or with warm naan to soak up the rich sauce. Pair it with a side of cucumber raita for a refreshing contrast. This dish also pairs beautifully with Indian recipes like Fish Curry, offering a delightful variety to your meal.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, gently warm the curry on the stove over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. You can also microwave it, but be sure to cover it and heat in short intervals for even warming.
