Ingredients

  • 2 lb. shrimp (unpeeled, headless)
  • 2 oz. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 6 buds garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. rosemary, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 oz. cooking sherry or wine

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  2. Add shrimp and spices (oregano, garlic, bay leaves, black pepper, crushed rosemary, salt).
  3. Saute for 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Add wine and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with French bread.
