Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 envelope Knox gelatine
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 can hot tomato soup
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cans deveined shrimp
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Soak Knox gelatine in cold water.
  2. Add the soaked gelatine to hot tomato soup and stir until dissolved.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, hot tomato soup with gelatine, chopped shrimp, salt, and pepper.
  4. Beat the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  6. Stir in chopped onion and chopped celery.
  7. Pour the mixture into an oiled mold and refrigerate until set.
  8. Serve the shrimp mousse chilled with crackers.
