Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 packages large shrimp
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • dash hot pepper sauce
  • 8 potatoes

Instructions

  1. Add tomatoes, onion, chopped green pepper, bacon drippings, chili sauce, hot pepper sauce, and salt to a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes to the boiling mixture and cook slowly until tender.
  3. Add large shrimp during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  4. Serve the stew topped with bacon bits.
