Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can cream of shrimp soup or cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 c. Sauterne
  • 4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix together melted margarine and flour until smooth.
  2. Blend in the cream of shrimp or celery soup, chicken broth, Sauterne, lemon juice, seasoned pepper, salt, and onion powder.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add shrimp to the sauce and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Serve the shrimp and sauce over rice.
