- 1 tsp. oil ⓘ
- 1 large onion, sliced ⓘ
- 1 large green pepper, sliced ⓘ
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained ⓘ
- 1 1/4 lb. boneless chicken, skin removed ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 tsp. dried oregano ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions, green pepper, and drained mushroom pieces.
- Cook until slightly tender, about 10 minutes.
- Cut boneless chicken into 2-inch pieces.
- Add chicken to the vegetable mixture.
- Cook, turning chicken frequently, until pinkness is gone.
- Add tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until heated through and chicken is fully cooked.
