Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 (5.9 oz.) package cook and serve vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cut each loaf of dough into 18 pieces.
  2. Arrange half in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, pudding mix, and milk until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with pecans and raisins, if desired.
  8. Arrange remaining pieces of dough over the top.
  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight or let stand at room temperature for 3 hours.
  10. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 35 minutes or until the center sounds hollow when tapped.
  11. Invert onto a serving platter or baking sheet.
