Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 2 packages butterscotch pudding
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Blend flour, butter or margarine, and chopped nuts until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, then cool completely.
  4. Cream the cream cheese with confectioners sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  7. Mix together the pudding mix and milk until thickened, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Add the remaining Cool Whip on top of the pudding layer.
  9. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top, if desired.
