Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can green lima beans
  • 1 can green cut beans
  • 1 can yellow cut beans
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 can undrained pork and beans in sauce
  • 4 medium onions

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon and drain, leaving grease in the skillet.
  3. Add brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, and vinegar to the skillet.
  4. Slice and ring the onions.
  5. Cook the onion mixture in the skillet for 20 minutes.
  6. Drain all beans except the pork and beans.
  7. Mix the onion mixture with the beans.
  8. Place the mixture in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  9. Crumble the cooked bacon on top.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
