Ingredients

  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can tomatoes and green chilies
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cans Ranch Style beans

Instructions

  1. Place 6 uncooked tortillas on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Cook and crumble 2 pounds of ground beef with 1 chopped onion and 1 tablespoon chili powder until browned.
  3. Spread a layer of cooked ground beef over the tortillas.
  4. Spoon a can of cream of chicken soup evenly over the beef layer.
  5. Sprinkle a can of tomatoes and green chilies over the soup.
  6. Add a layer of Ranch Style beans over the chili mixture.
  7. Sprinkle 1 pound of grated Cheddar cheese over the beans.
  8. Repeat the layers with remaining tortillas, beef, soup, chilies, beans, and cheese.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 40 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  10. Let stand for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
