Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Melt over low heat peanut butter and butter; remove from heat and stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add to other ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 16-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
  5. Frost with equal parts of butter, peanut butter and powdered sugar.
