Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 c. frozen chopped onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Use your hands to break up the ground turkey and add the frozen chopped onions.
  2. Turn the burner to medium-high heat.
  3. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, for about 10 minutes until all the pink is gone.
  4. Drain any excess fat.
  5. Stir in the tomato sauce, chili powder, prepared mustard, and Worcestershire sauce into the meat mixture.
  6. Cook on high until bubbly, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  7. Spoon the meat mixture onto the hamburger buns.
  8. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese before serving.
