Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 (17 oz.) can corn, drained
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can lima beans
  • 1 (12 oz.) package fully cooked sausage links, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook onion in butter until tender.
  2. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Add the milk all at once; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Stir in corn, sausage and lima beans.
  5. Simmer 10 minutes.
