Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups water
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 potatoes, pared and cubed
  • 10 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups cooked beef, cubed

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat 2 3/4 cups water to boiling.
  2. Add the onion soup mix, potatoes, and frozen mixed vegetables.
  3. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Mix flour with 1/4 cup water to make a slurry.
  5. Stir the flour mixture into the vegetable mixture.
  6. Cook until slightly thickened.
  7. Add the cooked beef cubes and heat thoroughly.
  8. Transfer to serving bowls.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
