Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 to 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • small amount water
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 head lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • small amount oil
  • sour cream (optional)
  • taco sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook hamburger in skillet until lightly brown.
  2. Add taco seasoning with a small amount of water.
  3. Simmer until water is gone, stirring occasionally.
  4. Transfer the cooked beef into a bowl.
  5. Chop or shred onion, tomatoes, and lettuce; place in separate small bowls.
  6. Warm the flour tortillas.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing beef, vegetables, and cheese inside tortillas.
  8. Serve with sour cream and taco sauce if desired.
