Ingredients

  • 1 corned ham or 15 to 25 lb. mashes low-salt ham
  • 2 medium heads cabbage
  • 2 lb. kale
  • 3 Tbsp. sage
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 lb. onions
  • 2 Tbsp. red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. poultry seasoning

Instructions

  1. Chop vegetables (cabbage, kale, and onions) and mix with sage, salt, red pepper, black pepper, and poultry seasoning.
  2. Cut slits in the ham.
  3. Stuff the mixture into the slits of the ham, and place any leftover stuffing on top.
  4. Wrap the ham in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  5. Place the wrapped ham in a roasting pan and add two small saucepans of water.
  6. Cook in the oven at 350°F for 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
