Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 jar Jr. prunes
  • 1 cup Wesson oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup nuts (pecans)

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until well blended.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except nuts and beat well.
  3. Fold in nuts gently.
  4. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
