Ingredients

  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked pepper
  • 1 lb. small white onions, peeled
  • 1/4 c. minced fresh dill
  • 1/2 c. olive or salad oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. whole waxed beans
  • 1 lb. whole green beans
  • 1/4 lb. cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a large stainless steel-lined saucepan, mix vinegar, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper over medium heat.
  2. Bring to boiling.
  3. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour into a 2-quart, shallow glass baking dish and cool completely.
