Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb beef roast (pot or rump)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3/4 oz brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup dry red wine
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except the roast in a bowl.
  2. Place the beef roast in a crock-pot and pour the mixture over it.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.
