Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen spinach
  • 1 c. mayo
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1/4 small onion, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 whole pumpernickel bread

Instructions

  1. Thaw and drain the frozen spinach in a colander; squeeze out all water.
  2. Mix the drained spinach with mayonnaise, sour cream, dry vegetable soup mix, chopped water chestnuts, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Chill the mixture for at least one hour before serving.
