Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese slices
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a 9 x 13-inch pan, greasing it lightly.
  2. Cover the bottom and 1/4-inch of the sides of the pan with crescent rolls.
  3. Flatten out the crescent rolls and press them against the bottom of the pan to form a flat crust; set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, flour, milk, beaten eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to make the custard mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the Swiss cheese slices evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  6. Add the spinach evenly over the cheese slices.
  7. Pour the custard mixture over the spinach and cheese layers.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 35 minutes or until set and golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
