Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. cooked ground beef, drained
  • 1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce or prepared mustard
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 8 long, hard rolls, split
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, blend cooked ground beef, condensed Cheddar cheese soup, Worcestershire sauce or prepared mustard, chopped onion, and pepper until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Spread 1/4 cup of the meat mixture on each split roll half.
  3. Spread to cover the edges of each roll.
  4. Place the rolls, meat side up, on a baking dish.
  5. Broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 7 to 8 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded Mozzarella cheese and continue broiling until the cheese is melted.
