Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked cubed ham
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup grated American cheese
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 can cream of asparagus soup
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup crushed corn flakes or bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked cubed ham, cooked rice, grated American cheese, evaporated milk, cream of asparagus soup, and finely chopped onion in a 1 1/2-quart or 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Mix crushed corn flakes with melted butter or margarine, then sprinkle on top of the casserole.
  3. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
