Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 cups grated squash
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and oil; add eggs and beat until fluffy.
  2. Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
  3. Add grated squash and chopped nuts.
  4. Mix well and pour into greased and floured pans.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350°F, watching closely after 45 minutes.
