Ingredients

  • 3 squirrels
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1/4 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
  • hot sauce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cover the squirrels with water, add chopped onion and bell pepper, and boil until the meat is tender.
  2. Remove the meat from the bones and add it back into the broth.
  3. Wash the rice thoroughly and add it to the mixture.
  4. Stir in the canned celery soup, mushroom soup, and tomato sauce.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and hot sauce to taste.
  6. Reduce the heat and simmer until the rice is cooked and flavors meld.
